Dr King's primary area of expertise is reproductive endocrinology and physiology of fish. During his doctoral studies, Dr King identified the steroid hormone regulating final oocyte maturation in the striped bass, an important aquaculture species. Since then, he has conducted research and managed laboratories of comparative endocrinology across the United States. Dr King is currently a full-time biomedical editor and has reviewed and edited more than 4000 manuscripts for publication in scholarly journals. He has a particular interest in helping authors whose first language is not English communicate their research and achieve their publication goals. Dr King began editing for the Edanz Group in 2013.
