In June to August 2016, Edanz Group (known as Liwenbianji in China) organized two summer seminar tours in China for early-career researchers, focusing on the Beijing area.

From 12 to 23 June 2016, Dr Julian Tang (Senior Editor) conducted writing seminars for a total of more than 700 researchers at Beijing Jiaotong University, Peking University, and Peking Union Medical College, as well as at medical conferences in Yinchuan and Lanzhou.

From 28 July to 14 August 2016, Dr Trevor Lane (Education Consultant and Senior Publishing Consultant) gave seminars to a total of more than 600 researchers at Beijing University Third Hospital, Institute of Zoology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing Institute of Science, and Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, as well as in other cities.

Outside Beijing, venues included Yinchuan (2016 International Neural Regeneration Symposium), Hebei University Third Hospital, Jinan Center For Disease Control And Prevention, No.1 People's Hospital in Shijiazhuang, Third Institute of Oceanography in Xiamen, Xiamen Chang Gung Hospital, Second Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University, Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Disease, and First People's Hospital of Shunde, Foshan.

At all the venues, the audience was introduced to free online tools available on the Edanz website--namely, the Journal Selector, elearning platform Author Academy, and a beta version of the guided writing platform Author Path. The feedback received from the organizers and participants was very appreciative and positive.
