On 29 September 2015,  Dr Trevor Lane (Education Director and Senior Publishing Consultant of Edanz Group) led two Author Success Workshops at Chulabhorn Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand. The workshops were titled Publishing Clinical Research: Increasing Your Chances of Acceptance. The 100 attendees included doctors specializing in oncology, radiology, and internal medicine, as well as nurses, clinical researchers, and scientists from the affiliated Chulabhorn Research Institute.

The workshop covered special considerations when reporting clinical research, finding a suitable target medical journal, passing the peer review process, and promoting research to multiple audiences after publication. The participants were given tips on assessing the strength of clinical evidence of their research findings, maximizing the impact of their research, and checking their manuscripts for errors, logic, and consistency.

During the Question and Answer sessions, Dr Lane provided helpful advice on biomedical ethics, submitting research work to indexed international journals, and what counts and does not count as prepublication.

The organizer thanked Edanz for the workshops and for collaborating with Chulabhorn Hospital through an editing services partnership to assist their staff in publishing their clinical work internationally.
