Edanz is looking for a person for sales and business development for our medical communications business.


Sales and business development for medcomms business, targeting clients in the pharma, agency, CRO, KOL and consumer products industries

Key responsibilities

  • Sales & business development (especially new sales channel development)
  • Pitch and proposal development
  • Client relationship management
  • Contribute to service development
  • Contribute to digital & print marketing campaign development and execution
  • Client segmentation and reporting

Ideal experience

  • Pharma sales at an agency


  • Medical literacy
  • Native Japanese and business level English
  • Self-starter and team player

Key metrics

  • Sales
  • New clients


  • Tokyo-based (or home-based in Tokyo area)
  • Frequent domestic travel, especially within Tokyo
