Rewriting

Edanz can rewrite and reorganize your rejected or draft manuscript

Edanz writers will rewrite your rejected or incomplete manuscripts in clear, concise, native-English according to the writing style and formatting requirements of your target journal. Where possible, problems identified by a journal editor or peer reviewer, or by the Edanz writing team, will be addressed during rewriting.
Focus Services can be combined with Rewriting to further increase your chances of publication success.

Rewriting following peer review

Rejection can be hard to take, but with appropriate revisions based on journal editor and peer reviewer comments, resubmission to the same or another journal can still lead to acceptance for publication. Edanz writers take the burden of rewriting off your shoulders, transforming your previous study into a publishable form, thereby allowing you to focus on your current research project. Your manuscript will be rewritten to address and incorporate the comments of the editor and reviewers for resubmission to the same journal or for submission to a new one. We will work with you to ensure that the new submission is as scientifically robust and well written as possible. If resubmitting to the same journal, we will develop a point-by-point response letter, convincingly rebutting any inappropriate reviewer comments, as well as outlining the changes that have been made to the original manuscript in response to comments.

Rewriting a draft manuscript

Edanz writers will take your draft manuscript and turn it into a completed, well polished and formatted manuscript ready for submission to your target journal. Perhaps your research has gone in a new direction or you just can’t find the time to complete a partly prepared manuscript. If you lack the time or confidence to bring your paper up to a publishable standard, we will work with you to generate a manuscript that is scientifically robust and clearly written.
