Journal Selection

Publishing is important for your career and helps you secure more funding for your research. Selection of an inappropriate journal is one of the most common reasons for rejection of a manuscript. What Edanz does	We give you a list of journals (3 or more) with an assessment of the benefits and risks associated with each. We also give you our recommendation of the most appropriate choice. We consider: Recent publication history Scope of your study Type of study (e.g., clinical study, case study, laboratory study) Type of manuscript (e.g., short communication, full article, review article, letter to the editor) Do you need to publish in a journal with a certain level of Impact Factor? How quickly you wish to publish
What we need	Please send us all the relevant documents, if you have them: Journal editor's comments Reviewers' comments Information of your target journal: First submission or re-submission? The history of your paper: has it been rejected? If so, from which journal and when? Have you revised your paper? Supporting or supplementary information, including figures and/or tables
