Dr. Mugridge was a lecturer in computer science at the University of Auckland, New Zealand from 1981 until 1999, and from 1999 to 2006 he was an Associate Professor. From 2001, his research focused on agile software development methods, testing, user interfaces and visual languages. Dr.Mugridge is extensively published with over 80 peer-reviewed papers, 19 are first authored by him, in international peer review journals. He has 38 other publications, including the book 'Fit for Developing Software', Prentice-Hall, 2005. Dr. Mugridge has lectured and presented at congresses around the world. As well, he has been a referee for a range of conferences, including among others: TOOLS’94, 1984 EJCAI Workshop on Constraints, OzCHI’96, SEE&P’96, ASWEC’97, CUC’97, VL’97, 1998 IEEE International Conference on Computer Languages, OzCHI’98, and CoSET’99, CoSET’2000, XP2003. Dr. Mugridge has supervised many PhD theses for his non-native students and has extensive English rewriting experience. He began working with Edanz Editing in 2007.
