オーストラリア出身、北京在住。メルボルン大学卒業後、様々なプログラミング、システム分析、技術的執筆・校正・ドキュメンテーションなどIT開発産業に長年携わる。またドイツ語と中国語を話すエディター兼ITシステムディレクター。多様な科学、ITおよび哲学の専門知識を駆使し化学、エンジニアリング、情報テクノロジー、ロボティックス、ソフトウェア開発、哲学、物理学の校正を担当。

After graduating from Melbourne University Mr. Parris entered the IT development industry and for 6 years was involved in a variety of programming, systems analysis, and technical writing, editing and documentation roles. Mr. Parris, who also speaks and writes German and Chinese, worked with language and editing fields before joining the Liwen Bianji (Edanz Editing – China) office in 2007 as an editor and IT staff. With his diversified science, IT and philosophy background, Mr. Parris edits in fields related with chemistry, engineering, information technology, robotics, software development, philosophy, and physics.
