Dr. Demarest received a BS in Psychology and a PhD in Neurobiology and Behavior from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Her work has focused on the neuroscience and genetics of a behavioral mouse model. From her research she has authored several peer-reviewed papers. She is currently a staff scientist at The Scripps Research Institute. She joined Edanz Group as an editor in 2008.
