イギリス在住。神経科学と遺伝学が専門の生物学者。1996年に精神病遺伝学で博士号を取得。博士号取得後、バンクーバー（カナダ）および、エジンバラ（英国）にて、運動ニューロン疾患（筋萎縮性側索硬化症）の珍しい遺伝型の研究を行う。50以上の研究報告、章(書籍）、論評、補助金アプリケーション等の執筆経験があり、分子生物学ジャーナルの原稿の査読も担当。

Dr. Devon is a biologist with a special interest in neuroscience and genetics. She obtained her PhD in 1996 on the genetics of psychiatric illness. Since then she has undertaken postdoctoral research on a rare inherited form of Motor Neurone Disease (Lou Gehrig's Disease) in Vancouver, Canada, and Edinburgh, UK. She has written over 50 research papers, book chapters, reviews and grant applications, and has peer-reviewed manuscripts for molecular biology journals. Dr. Devon began working with Edanz Editing in 2008.
