Workshop on How to Write Manuscripts in English in Oita, Japan
Edanz held lectures for female academics at Bunday , Oita University, on February 17, 2012.
The lecturer was Dr Warren Raye, Senior Life Sciences Editor at Edanz Group. He lectured on how to improve one’s chances of being successfully published. According to the results of the questionnaire distributed after the seminar, every attendee found the seminar to be either very useful or useful. Positive comments received included: “I learnt the importance of writing simply”, “The detailed explanations were good”, and “I would like to attend a similar seminar again in the future”.
More than half of the attendees as yet have no experience of English paper submission, but Edanz wishes them well with their future submissions.
