Working for Edanz Editing and Liwen Bianji

Edanz Editing has work for experienced native English editors, either full time or part time positions. We stress, native English speakers; English must be your birth language. We want scientists, researchers, and/or academics with excellent writing skills and a track record of papers published in English language journals. We are particularly interested in scientists with a background in the physical sciences. Our editors are often those who are looking for another outlet for their skills; perhaps it is a lifestyle decision to get out of an office or a laboratory. It is a case of have computer and an internet connection – can work and travel. A potential editor might also come from the fields of science writing or publishing. While most of our editors have PhDs, we are also interested in applications from experienced editors with other degrees or those with a background in academic publishing. Edanz Editing mainly serves the Japan and China markets, and so most manuscripts we edit come from those countries. Thus, some experience with manuscripts from East Asia is an advantage.
