The Edanz Group has prepared over 35,000 manuscripts for submission to over 3,500 journals. We currently provide language services for over 800 manuscripts per month, and have over 7,000 clients in Japan and 3,000 in China. Throughout our history we have sought to increase value and convenience for our clients through constant innovation and an attitude of doing what ever it takes to increase an author's chances of successful publication.

1995:
Edanz established in Japan, demystifies the "art" of English editing for Japanese authors and halves the “Japan premium” prices then charged by other services.

1996:
Edanz the first editing company in the world to introduce a 3 day service as standard and a 1 day express service.

1998:
First editing company to go online and make full use of the Internet to increase convenience for authors.

2006:
First international editing service to register a business in China. In 2009, we are still the only English editing service fully localized there.
Training program launched to raise the English writing skills of non native-English scientists. Today the program has developed into a series of lectures and seminars aimed at teaching authors "How to Write a World Class Paper". Our training materials are available to all in the Downloadable templates and resources area.

2008:
Edanz introduces Focus Services, such as Rewriting, Expert Scientific Review, and Journal Selection, that further increase an author's chances of successful publication.
Edanz Writing established to provide manuscript development services to pharmaceutical and life science companies.

2009:
Edanz editing and rewriting services extended to authors worldwide. Authors in all countries now have access to the Edanz editing and writing team of 140 highly qualified scientists and academics.

2010:
Edanz is the first editing company to be recommended by Springer, one of the largest and most prestigious scientific publishers.
The number of specialist editors and writers is over 200.
“Abstract Development” is introduced to Edanz's Focus Services.
